Meet the Owners of Amy’s Natural Pet Pantry

Amy’s Natural Pet Pantry was established in 2008 by Pete and Amy Schuhmann as one of the few holistic pet supply stores in the Osprey, Florida area. In February 2011 Lisa Hoffman and Michelle McConnell purchased Amy’s Natural Pet Pantry from the Schuhmanns. Being previous long time customers of the store themselves, Lisa and Michelle have carried over the same philosophy and passion for a healthy planet and healthy pets that has given Amy’s Natural Pet Pantry its reputation for providing exceptional products and customer service.

Michelle has over 15 years of dog training experience and is a certified trainer, providing group training sessions to pet owners. Lisa has spent numerous years working in both human and pet health and nutrition management. The holistic and eco-friendly attitude of Amy’s fit right into their personal and business philosophies. “Michelle and I pledge that customer service, top quality products and commitment
to customers are our top priorities,” says Lisa. They each share a love for animals and a green life style and bring their passion for healthy living to Amy’s Natural Pet Pantry.

The Pet Pantry Family

One thing you’ll notice when you step through the door at Amy’s Natural Pet Pantry are the 3 friendly dogs commonly referred to as “The House Dogs.” Fin, Gypsy and Harry are all rescue dogs adopted by Michelle and Lisa. These lovable little ones are always excited to meet new faces and provide plenty of opportunities for pats and pets. Bring your 4-legged friend along with you and meet the family!
